Our Mission
Introduction
The mission of the Durant Public Schools athletic program is to promote an environment that maximizes the development of character, teamwork, community, and school spirit.
Class 5A
The Durant Independent School District Athletic programs compete in Class 5A of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association. OSSAA is the governing body that oversees rules, regulations, and information regarding school competitive activities in the state of Oklahoma.

Durant Independent School District Athletic program has a great athletic staff dedicated to developing character and teamwork.
KLBC Live Stream
DISD Athletics has joined with KLBC FM to provide radio and video live streaming of our sporting events.

Our purpose is to support the Durant High Athletes while promoting school spirit. Community members who have an interest in Durant Athletics are welcome.
Hall of Fame
The Durant Atlhletic Hall of Fame was instituted to recognize and honor outstanding achievements of individuals, coaches and community leaders who have made significant contributions through their performance, service, and commitment.
Forms
Prior to participation in an athletic activity, a student and the student’s parent or guardian must complete the following forms including a Physical Examination and Parent Consent form
