Our Mission

Introduction

The mission of the Durant Public Schools athletic program is to promote an environment that maximizes the development of character, teamwork, community, and school spirit.

Class 5A

The Durant Independent School District Athletic programs compete in Class 5A of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association. OSSAA is the governing body that oversees rules, regulations, and information regarding school competitive activities in the state of Oklahoma.

Hall of Fame

The Durant Atlhletic Hall of Fame was instituted to recognize and honor outstanding achievements of individuals, coaches and community leaders who have made significant contributions through their performance, service, and commitment.

Prior to participation in an athletic activity, a student and the student’s parent or guardian must complete the following forms including a Physical Examination and Parent Consent form
